A number of techniques have been
developed to deal with infertility, such as IVF, GIFT and artificial
insemination. But these are not only morally objectionable to many people, they
often leave untreated the underlying problems which caused the infertility and
may do new damage to the woman's health.
The Life FertilityCare Programme, which
is based on the Natural Procreative Technology (NaPro) developed very
successfully in the USA, is different. Since female infertility nearly always
has a physical cause, it starts by identifying and evaluating the problem(s) in
each case and then prescribes treatment - in order to restore the woman's
health and enable conception to occur naturally.
This sympton-based approach to
infertility can be as effective as artificial reproductive technologies - even
more so. It tackles the underlying cause of the problem and restores health. It
is morally unobjectionable.
